Help CLEA fundraise for ChildVoice and the children of Uganda! Come to our event on May 23rd at 6:30pm at the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center to learn more about child soldiers, hear a former child soldier\'s story, and listen to African drumming. It is an experience you won\'t want to miss! Everyday the children of northern Uganda come face to face with the threat of abduction, slavery, violence, and sexual abuse. As a result of fighting by rebel forces, nearly 65,000 children have been abducted in the region and another 12,000 have been killed. These children face unimaginable atrocities, yet there is hope. Our school is taking a stand for peace and speaking out on behalf of these children. Please help us by joining our chapter, donating, or starting a chapter at your school. Together we have the power to make a lasting and profound difference in Uganda. The time for change is now. Join us!
